Lyon has been chosen to host the 8th of the series of
European ITS Congresses.
This city is the second leading economic centre in France and is
home to major manufacturers in the automobile sector. It will also
be a major opportunity to meet advanced industry, academics and
both public and private sector organisations sharing common
interest in promoting future urban transport systems using
ITS.
The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest
European achievements in ITS with the focus on ITS for sustainable
transport of persons and goods in urban regions.
An extensive visitor campaign will be organised to ensure a
large number of international trade visitors add to the exhibition
attendance by the Conference delegates. The exhibition and
conference will be running concurrently to enable the best possible
synergy between both parts of the event. The main delegate catering
area will be located inside the exhibition hall which will ensure
that majority of the delegates regularly come into the exhibition
hall for their lunches and coffee breaks.
The facilities of the Lyon Convention Centre are quite outstanding
for this Congress and Exhibition, offering all one can desire to
maximise business and pleasure over the three days of the
event.
